CMM Calibration                                                                                                                                                                              Triology will test the full range of your machine using our laser system and run a complete volumetric performance test including repeatability using our ball bar.  Mechanical adjustments will be made to meet the OEM specification where necessary. A full data report, certificate of calibration and machine identification tag will be provided.

Our standard calibration includes linear displacement (positioning) checks using a laser interferometer and a volumetric ball bar test. Other tests if needed, like angular (pitch & yaw), straightness, flatness and environmental data can be done if requested. Triology provides before and after data from all tests and includes this data with our calibration report.

We also offer a low cost method of testing your CMM's accuracy by performing a volumetric ball bar test on your machine and checking the result to the original OEM specification. This can normally be done in a few hours.

Our tooling and equipment is maintained at the highest level of accuracy to provide our customers with the best results possible. All standards used are calibrated, certified and traceable to NIST.
