Most CMM manufacturers recommend  annual calibration of the CMM to ensure that the accuracy of the equipment meets specification. We will calibrate & certify your machine to the OEM specification. We also perform a preventive maintenance check to prevent downtime and damage to the machine including the air system and electronics. Usually a calibration can take place in one day or less depending on size and type of the equipment. Triology can calibrate most makes and models.

 

 CMM Calibration

Triology can test the full range of your machine using our laser system and then run a complete volumetric performance test including repeatability using a ball bar.

 

Ball Bar Testing

Triology can test the volumetric accuracy of your machine by performing our 15 position ball bar analysis. This test takes less time and is lower in cost than a full calibration.

 

CMM Emergency Repair Service

Surface Plate Leveling

Our service technicians will clean and measure your granite or cast iron surface plates for flatness using our laser system. Large multiple piece surface plates can be adjusted for alignment and flatness.
